Irondequoit, N.Y. – Seabreeze Amusement Park says it’s still not clear when visitors will be allowed back, but its owners say plans are in place to keep visitors safe for when that day arrives.

The park says it’s still waiting on guidance from Albany as to when it can reopen for the season.

In the meantime, it says a plan is in place to protect customers during the pandemic. This includes purchasing tickets in advance, capacity limits, health checks upon arrival, maintaining social distancing and use of face masks.

A sanitation program and sanitizing stations are also in the works.

“As soon as we have more information to report, we will share an update with everyone,” Seabreeze Park President Rob Norris said in a statement. “…For 140 years, our local family-owned and operated business has always put the health and well-being of our guests and staff above all else. When the time comes, we’ll be ready to offer family fun to Rochester once again.”
