Results from Tuesday’s primary elections will be listed below.

Among the major races Tuesday are the special election for the 27th Congressional District. Senator Chris Jacobs and Nate McMurray are running for the remainder of the current term, previously held by Chris Collins.

Republicans in the 27th District will also be selecting the Republican candidate for the November general election.

In the 25th Congressional District, Brighton Town Council member Robin Wilt is challenging incumbent Congressman Joe Morelle for the Democratic nomination, while Alex Yudelson is challenging incumbent Assemblyman Harry Bronson in the 138th Assembly District. Four candidates are vying for the Democratic nomination in the race for the 137th Assembly District; Assemblyman David Gantt currently holds the seat, but is not seeking reelection.

All of Tuesday’s races are listed below. Results will be updated throughout the night, with live updates here.

It is important to note that, because of a higher-than-average number of absentee ballots due to the COVID-19 pandemic, not all races may be called Tuesday night. 13WHAM will specifically designate when a candidate is projected to win a given race.
