ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester’s own Pamela Melroy is now on the Biden transition team.

Melroy will be serving as a volunteer for NASA’s Agency Review team.

The Bishop Kearney graduate served as a pilot in two space shuttle missions and commanded another — one of the only two women to do so.

She will also be inducted in the Astronaut Hall of Fame.
