ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The University of Rochester and East High School have been awarded a grant to help bring STEM education to students in lower income brackets.

The $2.5 million grant was announced by Congressman Joe Morelle. The money will be used to fund a project that will study East high’s mathematics program so the program can be shared with other schools across the state that need it.
