Families of kids who get free or reduced-price lunches at school will soon get some more help from the state.
The families could get up to $420 per child.
Those who are eligible will automatically get that money without having to fill out any forms. The payments are based on the number of school days missed per month due to COVID-19.
State officials say the payments will start going out soon and will all be sent out by Aug. 31.
