Beginning on Monday, the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County will be offering contactless curbside pickup of library materials.
Anyone with a library card can call ahead at 585-428-7300 and schedule a pick-up time.
“People can order different books online, you can always download books from the library, but you can call the library or call 311 and they will have an on-demand sort of pick up service,” Mayor Lovely Warren said.
Wifi mobile hotspots are also available for curbside pickup and library staff will sanitize all contact services.
