Wegmans customers may have to pay more for certain items.
In an email to customers, the grocery store chain says they’ve experienced an increase in operating costs and in some product costs, like meat.
The email says, “retail prices on certain items in our stores will fluctuate in response.”
Other local stores have reported difficulties getting meat as well after several meatpacking plants closed due to coronavirus clusters.
